Privacy Policy
PunchCard Pro ("we", "us") provides GPS-verified time tracking to field contractors. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
1. Location data — only at clock events
PunchCard Pro captures GPS coordinates only at the moment an employee clocks in or clocks out (including job switches). We do not continuously track employees, we do not follow them between punches, and we do not track them while they are off the clock.
2. Information we collect
- Account details: name, email, phone, and hourly rate (where applicable).
- Punch-event location: latitude/longitude captured at clock-in and clock-out.
- Task notes entered when clocking out.
- Photos and files attached to jobs or job-log entries.
- Standard technical logs (device type, timestamps) needed to operate the service.
3. Employer responsibility
The employer (account owner) is the controller of their crew's data. Employers are responsible for notifying their employees that location is captured at clock-in and clock-out, and for obtaining any consent required by applicable state or local employee-monitoring laws.
4. Where data is stored
Data is stored in secure cloud infrastructure using industry-standard encryption in transit and at rest. We do not sell your data to third parties. We share data only with the sub-processors required to operate the service (hosting, email delivery) and only as needed to provide it to you.
5. Retention and deletion
We retain time-tracking data for as long as your account is active so you can review historical payroll. You may request export or deletion of your company's data at any time by emailing us. Deletion requests are honored within 30 days, subject to any legal hold requirements.
6. Your choices
Employees may request a copy of their own data or ask their employer to remove it. Employers may cancel and export at any time.
